Breakfast With Lucy

Lucy is growing up before our eyes. I love that she's eating breakfast with her little bunny.

When it's just the two of us (and my camera) I very rarely have a chance to catch her in the act of smiling. This is the closest she came to smiling at the camera this morning.

Don't be fooled, she was running around the house very soon after this was taken:)

Yesterday I shot some photos of our friends next door. Here're a few highlights.

I used a new editing technique in photoshop to give the images a bit of a retro feel. The warm colors make me feel like I'm watching an episode of The Wonder Years.

Lucy and Abhi

My college roommate, Abhi, and his wife came to Phoenix for a visit last week. Lucy was quickly smitten by her new playmate.

Rest Stop Near Palm Springs

During our drive to SoCal two weekends ago, we stopped to stretch our legs at a famous landmark. Lucy was excited to stretch her legs....

...until she realized that she was standing under a giant scary t-rex. Then she ran past daddy and his camera straight to mommy

Few people know this, but our back porch doubles as a nail salon.

Smoothie

We flew back to AZ yesterday and have a day in town before flying out to CA tomorrow. This morning I made some fresh orange juice using some oranges from our tree in the back yard. It's delicious when mixed with some frozen berries, milk and yogurt. 

I think Lucy thought so too.
